The 2-part report produced by the OCLC-led project "Research Information Management at US Institutions" – in whose team euroCRIS was involved through the participation of its Technical Secretary – has now been published. This new output is a follow-up for the previous OCLC/euroCRIS collaboration which resulted in the report “Practices and Patterns in Research Information Management: Findings from a Global Survey”.
The first part of the report provides a snapshot of the RIM landscape in the US drawn from a number of institutional case studies, documenting RIM use cases, a framework for understanding RIM system components, and concise recommendations for institutional leaders. Part 2 includes the case studies collected from five different US universities: Penn State U, Texas A&M U, Virginia Tech, UCLA and the U of Miami.
