Event website and registration page for MM2023Brussels already available

The event website for the May 30-Jun 1 Spring 2023 euroCRIS membership meeting is already live. Because the call for proposals for the programme from euroCRIS members is still open, the website currently features just a sketch of the event programme. This will gradually become more detailed in the following weeks as we approach the event. The registration page is also open and linked from the MM2023Brussels website. Please bear in mind the following guidance when registering:

euroCRIS talk at EARMA Annual Conference 2023 Prague

On Tue 25 Apr the euroCRIS President Jan Dvořák delivered the presentation "An updated snapshot of the CRIS landscape" at the EARMA Annual Conference 2023 in Prague. The slides for this talk are already available in the euroCRIS repository. The presentation addressed the ever-changing CRIS landscape and its links to the research management and administration activity.

Second call of the National/Regional CRIS Working Group

Following the (online) kick-off meeting for the National/Regional Research Portals WG on Feb 1^st, 2023, the second call of this group was held on Tue Apr 25^th. The session was devoted to lessons learned from previous or ongoing collaborative initiative in the CRIS domain. Two case studies were presented by Michele Mennielli (on the Southern European SELRIM project) and by Joonas Nikkanen (on the Finnish National CRIS Research.fi). The WG members also voted for a new name for the initiative: CRISCROS (for Cross-stakeholder collaboration around CRIS).

Registration open for Apr 19th webinar on OpenAIRE Guidelines for CRIS Managers

The joint euroCRIS/OpenAIRE webinar on the implementation of the OpenAIRE Guidelines for CRIS Managers that was announced early in March already has a date/time and a registration page: the webinar will be held at 11:30am CEST on Wed Apr 19th and it's already possible to register here.

Four papers by euroCRIS Board members accepted for EUNIS 2023 Congress in Vigo

The acceptance/rejection notices for the EUNIS 2023 Congress to be held Jun 14-16, 2023 in Vigo (Spain) were received this week. These included acceptance notices for four submissions contributed by euroCRIS Board members, see the list below. Such a volume of Research Information Management (RIM)-related contributions (there may be additional ones besides those coming from euroCRIS) all but guarantees there will be a track devoted to CRIS systems and RIM at the event.
