FAIRCORE4EOSC project kick-off in Amsterdam

The kick-off meeting for the 3-year FAIRCORE4EOSC project in whose Advisory Board euroCRIS is represented is taking place in Amsterdam on 29 and 30 June 2022. The public part of the FAIRCORE4EOSC kick-off on Wednesday 29 June was livestreamed via the project's YouTube channel from 9:15 to 11:00 CEST. It included presentations by Tommi Suominen, Project Coordinator at CSC - IT Center for Science, Peter Szegedi, DG CNECT at the EC, Mark van de Sanden, SURF and Ingrid Dillo, DANS. DANS is the project coordinator for the parallel FAIR-IMPACT project, which is being kicked-off in parallel.

Jul 21st webinar "What Is a Research Information Management System?"

A series of free webinars is being offered as a warm-up to the 2023 Expert Finder Systems International Forum. The first of these will be held on Thu Jul 21st, 2022 under the title "What Is a Research Information Management System? Q & A with RIM System Providers". It will be moderated by Rebecca Bryant from euroCRIS Strategic Partner OCLC and the panel will include representatives of Clarivate (Converis and Esploro), Elsevier (Pure), VIVO and Symplectic Elements.

Submission of full versions for the CRIS2022 proceedings

The deadline for submitting the full, Procedia-formatted versions to be published in the CRIS2022 conference proceedings has been extended from Jun 15th to Jun 30th, 2022. Also, instead of using easyChair, the suggested delivery mechanism is to directly attach your doc or zip files in a message to the euroCRIS mailbox at eurocris [at] eurocris.org, ideally mentioning on the message subject the original submission number on easyChair. A confirmation of reception will be sent as the full versions of the contributions arrive.

euroCRIS at the 1st OECD MARIAD webinar

The first webinar of the OECD MARIAD initiative for the Management and Analysis of R&D and Innovation Administrative Data will be held 14 to 16 hrs CEST on Thu June 23rd. The webinar will focus on Data Information Models for Scientific Research as a top priority topic and its programme will include a presentation on the Common European Research Information Format (CERIF) standard by the euroCRIS Board member and Lead for the CERIF Task Group Jan Dvořák.
