Succesful Final Pasteur4OA Conference in Amsterdam
In May 2016, the European project Pasteur4OA organised its final conference in Amsterdam. euroCRIS was one the participants in this project. The theme of the conference was 'Green Light for Open Access" Aligning Europe's Open Access Policies'.
Call for Papers for the First International Workshop on Reproducible Open Science (RepScience 2016)
This Workshop aims at becoming a forum to discuss ideas and advancements towards the revision of current scientific communication practices in order to support Open Science, introduce novel evaluation schemes, and enable reproducibility.
UNESCO/COAR joint statement on Open Access
COAR and UNESCO have published a joint statement on open access which outlines some of the concerns around the drive towards APCs. The statement is aimed at policy makers and underscores the need for a variety of OA models to be implemented around the world.
