A first CERIF surgery will be held online at 2pm CEST on Thu Sep 25th to discuss the evolution of the Common European Research Information Format with euroCRIS members interested in knowing more about how the standard is currently being refactored. This first 1-hr session will be hosted by Jan Dvořák and Dragan Ivanović, the two euroCRIS leads for the CERIF Refactoring project. A call for proposals for the forthcoming Autumn 2025 euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting has now been released. The CfP welcomes contributions from euroCRIS members to the programme of this Nov 25-27 euroCRIS meeting at the Izmir Institute of Technology. The deadline for submissions is 15 Oct 2025 and proposals should be submitted to eurocris [at] eurocris.org.

Update on forthcoming euroCRIS events
The presentation "Updates from the euroCRIS Board" delivered by the euroCRIS President Jan Dvořák at the end of yet another successful euroCRIS membership meeting an the Provinciehuis Vlaams-Brabant in Leuven offered information on the venues (and some of the dates) for forthcoming euroCRIS events.
The next euroCRIS meeting will be the Nov 25-27 Autumn 2025 Strategic Membership Meeting (SMM2025), to be held at the İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) in Türkiye. The host for next year's CRIS2026 Conference will be the University of Azores in Portugal.
We are keeping in mind the previously announced host for the CRIS2026 Conference, the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, as a host for future euroCRIS events.
Call for proposals for these events will be put out to euroCRIS members as the meetings draw nearer.
