Following the successful 4th CERIF surgery held on Thu Jan 15th, the leads for the refactored CERIF Jan Dvořák and Dragan Ivanović have scheduled a new one at 2pm CET on Thu Jan 29th. This 5th online discussion will focus on the modelling of instruments and facilities in the refactored CERIF.

The euroCRIS-led INST-DSpace project to add instruments and facilities to an expanded DSpace-CRIS data model has been awarded funding by the Vietsch Foundation. The project will involve a collaboration between euroCRIS and 4Science to model the equipment entity in CERIF so that instruments and facilities can be added to the snapshot for the institutional research activity.

Update on forthcoming euroCRIS events
Following another successful euroCRIS membership meeting at the Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) last Nov, the next euroCRIS event will be the 17th International Conference on Current Research Information Systems (CRIS2026). The CRIS2026 Conference will be held May 20-22 at the São Miguel Campus of the University of the Azores in Portugal. A call for proposals for contributions to the conference is currently open until 7 Feb 2026.
After that, the Autumn 2026 euroCRIS membership meeting will be held Nov 24-26 at Tecnalia in San Sebastian, Spain. This will be the first time a euroCRIS meeting is held at a Technology & Innovation Transfer Centre rather than at a University. A call for proposals for this SMM2026 event will be released in the summer.
