Two euroCRIS representatives, Board member Joachim Schöpfel at Université de Lille and Technical Secretary Pablo de Castro at University of Strathclyde are part of the 4-strong team of consultants behind the winning bid for the Knowledge Exchange call for proposals for a study on "Risks and Trust in pursuit of a well functioning Persistent Identifier infrastructure for research".
The team is led by Ulrich Herb at Saarland University and scidecode, and completed with Laura Rothfritz, research assistant at the Berlin School of Library and Information Science at Humboldt University Berlin. The work aims to identify best possible strategic and operational paths to achieve a well-functioning PID infrastructure for Knowledge Exchange (KE) member states and beyond.
