The French-language book "Research Information Systems: Evaluation, Performance and Responsibility" ("Les systèmes d’information sur la recherche: Évaluation, performance et responsabilité") was published in January by the London-based ISTE Group. The short book is coauthored by euroCRIS Board member Joachim Schöpfel and prolific contributor to euroCRIS events Otmane Azeroual at the Uiversity of Hagen in Germany.
From the book description text: "Addressed at computer scientists, librarians, research managers, researchers and students, this is the first book in French language devoted to this subject [CRIS]. It proposes a novel overview of the concepts and functions of research information systems, as well as of their role in research evaluation".
The book is only available in electronic version and has not been published Open Access. However, its introduction and table of contents are openly available from the publisher website.
