The 'Impact of Science 2017' conference will be held June 12-13 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Under the motto "Building alliances for synergy between world class science and societal impact", the event will gather researchers, policymakers and industry reps to explore methods for demonstrating impact, the relevance of strategic alliances and policy instruments for achieving impact. The discussion around the recently relased LERU position paper "Productive interactions: Societal impact of academic research in the knowledge society" on how to combine top science with societal impact will be one of the highlights of the event programme.
euroCRIS Board member and leader of the euroCRIS Task Group 'Impact' Gunnar Sivertsen will be take part as a speaker in the round table on "Finding joint definitions and assumptions on impact".
