The DFG-funded project *metrics – Measuring The Reliability and perceptions of Indicators for interactions with sCientific productS launched its project website on May 18th.
The main objective of this project is to develop a deeper understanding of *metrics (aka altmetrics / social media metrics), in terms of their general significance and their perception amongst stakeholders. The 20-month project, which was launched on Jan 1st 2017, bring together partners such as SUB Göttingen, ZBW, GESIS and VZG. The project work packages are summarized in the metrics project website.
