A new important partnership for the future of CRISs: euroCRIS and Brazil start working together

We are delighted to announce to our Community that on the 19th of January 2016, euroCRIS and the Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia (IBICT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the first one in the history of our Organisation with a non-European Partner. This partnership strengthens our opinion that the Research Ecosystem has no geographic or national borders and that to reach the perfect technical interoperability among different systems, we need cross-country cooperation on other levels to identify common solutions for common problems.

Strategic Membership Barcelona Contributions now availalbe

All the presentations and posters delivered at the Strategic Membership Meeting in Barcelona in November 2015 are now available in the euroCRIS DSpace-CRIS repository. 34 items have been made available, including the event programme. Abstracts of the presentations have been included if provided to euroCRIS by the authors. Those authors who wish to send an abstract of their presentations are invited to send these to eurocris@eurocris.org. The euroCRIS secretariat will include them into the respository after having received them.

INCONECSS Conference, April 19-20, Berlin

The German National Library of Economics will organise the first International Conference of Economics and Business Information (INCONECSS) on 19 and 20 April, 2016. Topics range from content management in a digital age to staff development issues and strategic development of new services. Main topics are: Research Data, Ebook Strategies, Current Research Information Systems (CRIS), Reshaping of Skills and structures, Research support and Open Access. As part of the conference, euroCRIS Members will organise a workshop (in two parts) on Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) and Libraries.

Early bird registration is possible until February 29th, 2016.

Update on CRIS2016: Guidelines for Submissions now available

Last December we have announced the launch of the special website for CRIS2016: CRIS2016.co.uk. As from today you can find a link to the Guidelines for Submission to CRIS2016 on the homepage of this site. At this site you will find all updates related to CRIS2016. It also provides a link to the Call for Papers and an overview of the key dates related to submissions.
