STI Conference, Valencia, 14-16 September 2016
Valencia is the venue of the 21st International Conference on Science & Technology Indicators, that will be held from 14-16 September 2016. The conference aims to stimulate reflection on the challenges posed to S&T indicator development and use in geographical, cognitive or social spaces that are peripheral or marginal to the centres of economic, scientific or technological activity. The focus is also on emerging areas of research and innovation that are inadequately described by existing, quantitative or qualitative indicators.
CERIF API Specification published
euroCRIS is proud to announce that the CERIF API specification version 1.0 has been published and uploaded onto the euroCRIS repository.
Final CASRAI Reconnect15 programma is now live
In two weeks time the CASRAI Reconnect Conference will start in Toronto (Canada). The final programme of the conference is available now. Registration is possible until October, 27th, 2015.
Important topics that will be discussed are: Research Data Management; reports on CASRAI standards; quality of research infrastructures
Overview of European CRIS systems
In Slovakia an update of an earlier survey (in 2011) has been conducted in 2013 in order to analyse running CRIS systems in Europe on a national level. The focus was on countrywide systems that are used by both the national scientific community and the national science policy. Effectiveness of the systems is based on characteristics of their online presentations and on the intelligibility and attractiveness of the user interface. In the analyses the DRIS (the Directory of Research Information Systems, maintained by euroCRIS) has been used.
