Paris Membership Meeting, May 2015

Membership Meetings

(see Final Programme at the bottom of this page)

On May 11-12, 2015 euroCRIS will organise in close collaboration with AMUE (Agence de mutualisation des universités et établissements) its spring Membership Meeting in the AMUE-offices (close to the Jardin du Luxemborg, see picture above). Central theme for this meeting is ‘CRIS in the Information Landscape: The place and role of CRIS to support and manage Open Data, Open Access, and Open Science ‘.

Before the actual start of the meeting we will have on Sunday evening May 10th an informal welcome reception at restaurant 'Stop Cluny', 94 Boulevard Saint-Germain. Starting time: 19.00 h.

Traditionally, the meeting will have a national session – organized by AMUE -, a topical session and an – open – Jostein Hauge session (see separate announcement). Other important parts of the meeting are: a euroCRIS general introduction, a CERIF tutorial, the euroCRIS business meeting, and the Task Group meetings. Below you will find the provisional programme and a call for papers for the Jostein Hauge and the Topical Session.

Membership Meetings are free for euroCRIS Members. A fee of 35 euros will be asked for attending the Meeting Dinner on May 11th, 2015.  Non-members may attend the meeting as well. They will pay a fee of 60,00 Euros. This includes the personal membership fee for the year 2015.

The FINAL PROGRAMME of the meeting is listed below. The Membership Meeting is the event where euroCRIS members have the opportunity to share their views, both in an informal way and in a formal way. The formal way relates to sessions that will be organised during the conference. Therefore we have opened a call for papers for two sessions: the Jostein Hauge Session and the Topical Session AMUE will organise a national session (with invited speakers). This call is no longer open.

We would like to bring under the attention of our French speaking audience that Deuxième Labo will organise a special soirée on the visibilily of French research, Monday evening, May 11th, 17.30 - 19.00 h.

AMUE has composed a list of recommended hotels. Of course you are free to choose your hotel, but it is advisable to book your hotel not too late!

Registration for the meeting (and the meeting dinner) is possible through the link : http://www.amiando.com/ZKRVEVV. Please don't forget to tick the special 'meeting dinner button' during the registration process.
