AI4CRIS

The AI4CRIS Working Group is a groundbreaking initiative by euroCRIS aimed at harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionize Current Research Information Systems (CRIS). As AI continues to transform industries globally, its potential to drive innovation in research management is immense. Our mission is to:

  1. Explore AI applications that enhance data management and streamline workflows in CRIS

  2. Identify key use cases for AI integration in research information systems

  3. Address challenges institutions face when implementing AI technologies

  4. Foster discussion around best practices and ethical considerations

 Note. A first online meeting of the AI4CRIS group was held on Tue Oct 22nd. This session saw the presentation of the WG remit and summarised the findigs of the survey on current and future used of AI conducted among euroCRIS members. The slides presented at the session are available in the euroCRIS repository. The next WG activity will be an AI4CRIS presentation at the forthcoming Nov 26-28 euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting at INRAE in Paris.
